Realizing the scarcity of education in this educationally backward region, The Late Sri Rudramuni Mahaswamiji established the Sri Rudraswamy Rural Vidya Vardhaka Sangha (Reg.), Kanakagiri. Under. the aegis of this organization, the Primary School was started in the year 1988-89. Subsequently, by establishing the High School in 1992-93, He undertook the noble task of providing not only education but also cultural values (Samskara) to the poor children of this region.
The institution has been imparting free general education along with religious instruction and cultural
values (Samskara) to the children of the region. Hundreds of students have already completed their
studies here and are serving across the length and breadth of the state. As exemplary citizens, they are
actively propagating our dharma and culture. Through this initiative, the Sri Matha is dedicated to the
work of preserving, nurturing, promoting, and propagating Indian religious culture.
